Food Industries Research Institute paid a working visit to Faculty of Chemical Technology

On the morning of February 26th, 2021, the delegation of Food Industries Research Institute paid a working visit to the Faculty of Chemical Technology, Hanoi University of Industry.

The delegation of the Food Industries Research Institute includes:

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Quang Thuat - Deputy Director

Dr. Nguyen Manh Dat - Deputy Director

Dr. Vu Duc Chien - Head of Science Planning and International Cooperation Department;

Dr. Bui Thi Bich Ngoc - Deputy Director of the Center for Flavoring Oils and Food Additives;

Dr. Do Trong Hung - Head of Powdered Sugar Technology Department.

From the Faculty of Chemical Technology (FCT), there were: Dr. Pham Thi Mai Huong - Dean; Dr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen The Huu - Vice Dean and Heads of Divisions.

On behalf of FCT, Dr. Pham Thi Mai Huong introduced the tradition, development history, staff and training scale of FCT. Dr. Huong proposed some ideas on cooperation in teaching and scientific research.

​Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Quang Thuat briefly introduced the Institute of Food Industries Research Institute: the functions and tasks of the Institute, the laboratories of the Institute, facilities and potentials, strengths of the Institute. In the field of analysis and application, the Institute currently has 2 laboratories achieving Vilas, currently analyzing and evaluating the quality of products and foods for the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Food Safety and Hygiene Department.

In his speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thuat expressed his desire and willingness to cooperate with the Faculty of Chemical Technology, HaUI in teaching and scientific research. The two sides agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding. After the meeting, the delegation of the Food Industries Research Institute visited the facilities, laboratory systems and equipment for training and scientific research of FCT.
